• Deposit and Payment: A deposit may be required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due on the day of the move, before services are rendered.
• Accepted Payment Methods: We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and bank transfers.
• Refunds and Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking, please inform us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled move may result in a cancellation fee.

4. Customer Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and complete information about the items being moved, including any special handling requirements.
• Ensure that all items are properly packed, secured, and ready for transport on the scheduled moving day.
• Inform us of any access restrictions, such as narrow driveways, stairs, or limited parking space, that may affect the moving process.

Failure to comply with these responsibilities may result in additional charges or delays.

5. Liability and Limitations

While we take great care in handling your belongings, Lecanto Movers is not liable for damages caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, accidents, or acts of God. We are also not responsible for the following:

• Items improperly packed or unsuitable for transportation.
• Damage to items that are not disclosed or that are not packed in an appropriate manner.
• Delays caused by external factors, including weather, traffic, or road conditions.

Insurance: We offer basic liability coverage, but additional insurance options may be available. It is recommended that you inquire about full-value protection if you are moving high-value items.

6. Storage Services

If you choose to use our storage services, the following conditions apply:

• Access to Storage Units: Customers may access their stored items during regular business hours, with prior notice to Lecanto Movers. Storage units are subject to availability.
• Security: We take reasonable precautions to ensure the security of your stored items. However, we are not liable for any loss or damage that occurs while items are in storage, unless it is caused by our negligence or improper handling.

7. Prohibited Items

We reserve the right to refuse to move or store certain items. The following items are prohibited from being transported or stored:

• Hazardous materials, including chemicals, flammable liquids, explosives, and toxins.
• Perishable food items.
